Great North Maths Hub offers a wide range of professional development opportunities to enhance subject leadership and deepen mathematical subject knowledge across all phases of education, from Early Years to Further Education, supporting teachers and leaders at every stage of their career.

what is a work group?

A Maths Hubs Work Group is a professional development model where teachers collaborate, to enhance their practice and student learning. Led by an experienced teacher, the group focuses on professional learning, teaching practice, and whole-school improvement.

Great North Maths Hub

targeted support

Targeted Support in Mathematics offers bespoke, fully funded support to help schools strengthen mathematics curriculum, teaching and leadership. Available to both new and existing Great North Maths Hub schools, the support is tailored to your school’s specific priorities and development needs.
